After an intense early
activity at the beginning of the '70s, Roberto Trabucco
starts taking part to the first high level competitions
with excellent results at the Italian Individual
Championship and winning several qualifications within
his sports society.
In 1978 he takes part, for the first
time, to World Championship in Austria winning the 2nd
absolute place. He will repeat the exploit in 1985 in
Florence on the river Arno. In 1980 he is pole fishing
Italian Champion and again he is in 1989 on river
Volturno.
He gained innumerable successes with the
Italain National Team:
GOLD medal, in 1986 in France, 1992
in Eire, Portugal in 1993, 1996 in Italy, 1997 Hungary
and in 2000 again in Italy.
Silver medal in 1978 Austria, 1987
Portugal and in 1988 in Belgium.
Bronze medal in 1989 in Bulgaria,
1990 in Yugoslavia, 1991 in Hungary, 1994 in England,
1998 Croatia and 1999 Spain.
He won the 1st place place in the
individual rankings at the Clubs World Championships in
1985 Belgium. Other victories are the 1st place in the
Match fishing Italian Chanpionships and serveral times
Italian Champion in the 1st division
